Great American Cross Country Invitational Success

Thanks to a grant from the First Flight Track Club, the First Flight High School cross country teams were able to face national-level competition at the Great American Cross Country Invitational in Cary, NC. Top girl, Morgan Miller, placed ninth overall with a tmie of 17:43.

On her way to a 20-second personal best, Miller passed several of the top runners in the state. The girls team placed 22nd out of the 35 teams in the Race of Champions, the top-level race of the day. Deacon Parker led the boys team with a time of 17:07 on a very challenging course.
