Strength for Runners Workshop

FFTC is sponsoring individual running analysis for athletes by Paul Wilson of Prompt Physical and Performance.

Paul is an expert strength coach for runners who helps athletes become faster and healthier by using state of the art individual gait analysis and running performance evaluation.

80 minute sessions for individuals and groups up to 5 individuals to include:

            *Gait analysis with “Run scribe” technology

            *Video analysis with “On-form” technology

            *Physical evaluation for specific mobility deficits uncovered with gait analysis

            *Detailed summary of findings with recommendations for corrective drills, training and or plyometrics

            Individual assessment also include:

            **VALD force plate testing (same testing as used by US Olympians)

            **Hand Held Dynamometry to test hip strength

When and Where:  Sun Dec 1- Tues Dec 3 by appointment, Outer Banks Sports Club: 2423 S Croatan Hwy, Nags Head, NC 27959

Cost:  FFTC is able to accept donations and offer 80 minute sessions to student athletes for $100 (or $25 per student athlete for groups of 3 or more).  Sessions are available for adults for $175.  Retail price for this service is $250.

A free presentation, “Principles of Strength for Runners” by Paul is also available to all local coaches on Monday 12/2 @ 5:30 pm in Kill Devil Hills.
